"Volcán de mi mismo" has been created in collaboration with artist Sebastian Roque who after a series of serendipity events and conversations it all lead to the materialization of a smoking volcano hat that both of us had been working on simultaneously without even knowing it. The hat was conceived at Mount Etna, Italia, where a DIY foundry was activated in order to let the hot liquid aluminium slide on the landscape and capture it's minerals and volcanic rocks. Inside, it has a container that holds the burning incense, protecting your skull from the hot ashes once its activated. It's a great hat to brainstorm and transmute ideas into the atmosphere like a true volcano that erupts with no self-control even if it means blasting itself into oblivion as true volcanoes do. True ideas always destroy its creator one way or another.
